Everyday Warrior Journey Rewards
As a Warrior for Christ, you will be rewarded greatly for your efforts to put on the Whole Armor of God and to live the Hero’s Creed. The High King of Heaven delights to honor those who serve Him in righteousness. The Lord tells us that “great shall be their reward.”
D&C 76:5-6
For thus saith the Lord—I, the Lord, am merciful and gracious unto those who fear me, and delight to honor those who serve me in righteousness and in truth unto the end. Great shall be their reward and eternal shall be their glory.
Enlightened by the Holy Spirit
One of the wonderful rewards that you will receive is to have the Holy Spirit to guide you in all things.
2 Nephi 32:5
For behold, again I say unto you that if ye will enter in by the way, and receive the Holy Ghost, it will show unto you all things what ye should do.
You will truly be filled with wisdom from God as you embrace this precious gift! His Spirit will enlighten your mind to be able to understand all mysteries!
D&C 76:7-10
And to them will I reveal all mysteries, yea, all the hidden mysteries of my kingdom from days of old, and for ages to come, will I make known unto them the good pleasure of my will concerning all things pertaining to my kingdom. Yea, even the wonders of eternity shall they know, and things to come will I show them, even the things of many generations. And their wisdom shall be great, and their understanding reach to heaven; and before them the wisdom of the wise shall perish, and the understanding of the prudent shall come to naught. For by my Spirit will I enlighten them, and by my power will I make known unto them the secrets of my will—yea, even those things which eye has not seen, nor ear heard, nor yet entered into the heart of man.
Blessed in All Things
The Lord will bless you in all things, both temporal and spiritual. If you hold out faithful to the end, you will have never-ending happiness!
Mosiah 2:41
And moreover, I would desire that ye should consider on the blessed and happy state of those that keep the commandments of God. For behold, they are blessed in all things, both temporal and spiritual; and if they hold out faithful to the end they are received into heaven, that thereby they may dwell with God in a state of never-ending happiness. O remember, remember that these things are true; for the Lord God hath spoken it.
Crowned With Glory
The rewards are eternal, and it is impossible to comprehend the glory that you will be blessed with if you are faithful. And in the kingdom of heaven you will be crowned with much glory!
D&C 58:2-4
For verily I say unto you, blessed is he that keepeth my commandments, whether in life or in death; and he that is faithful in tribulation, the reward of the same is greater in the kingdom of heaven. Ye cannot behold with your natural eyes, for the present time, the design of your God concerning those things which shall come hereafter, and the glory which shall follow after much tribulation. For after much tribulation come the blessings. Wherefore the day cometh that ye shall be crowned with much glory; the hour is not yet, but is nigh at hand.
Everyday Warrior Journey Award
We as your Everyday Warrior Journey leaders also want to give you a reward, to celebrate your victories and your diligence. So as a token of remembrance we will present you with an award at the upcoming awards ceremony if you have submitted a weekly report 75% of the time and have turned in a Journey Report.
The Journey Continues!
As we come to the end of the Everyday Warrior Journey for this year, we hope that you realize that this journey does not really end here. You can choose to be a Warrior for Christ every day of your life. You can put on the Whole Armor of God to prepare yourself for battle and strive to keep it on every day. You can fight the real battle against the enemy of all righteousness every day as you live the Hero’s Creed. This journey will continue to strengthen you and eventually bring you home to the loving arms of your father, the High King of Heaven, and Jesus Christ your High Commander.
